Why the Ultamate Rewards Mastercard is a Must-Have for Ulta Shoppers

Ultamate Rewards Mastercard

Hey beautiful people, it’s Keshav! I want to talk to you guys about the Ultamate Rewards Mastercard. Ulta has a store card and a Mastercard you can get. Previously, I talked to you about the Sephora credit card, but I figured Ulta is a great alternative. I used to get my hair done at Ulta all the time because my hairstylist moved there. That’s when I discovered what Ulta offers. It’s a great option for those who might not get approved for the Sephora credit card or want both. Let’s delve into the details of the Ultamate Rewards Mastercard, including their website and the benefits they provide.

The Shopping Cart Trick.

Some users have claimed that they were able to obtain the Ultamate Rewards Mastercard through the shopping cart trick, which enables you to acquire a credit card without undergoing a hard inquiry. Although this has not been completely confirmed, it may be worth attempting if you have a lower credit score.

Ultamate Rewards

Earning Rewards

With the Ulta credit card, you can get a 20% discount on your first purchase at Ulta Beauty. After that, you can earn rewards for shopping at the store.

You get 1 point for every dollar you spend at Ulta with both cards. With the Ultamate Rewards Mastercard, you also get 1 point for every $3 you spend at other stores. Points expire after a year, but if you’re a Platinum or Diamond member, they don’t expire.

Redeeming Rewards

If you go to Ulta Beauty a lot, you will get points faster. The more points you have, the more you can get with them.

This is how many points you have and what they can get you.

  • 100 points = $3
  • 250 points = $8
  • 500 points = $17.50
  • 750 points = $30
  • 1,000 points = $50
  • 2,000 points = $125

You can get different amounts of money for each point you earn, between 3 cents and 6.25 cents. This is more than other credit cards that usually give 1 cent per point. But you can only use these points at Ulta Beauty stores or online at ulta.com.

Rewards Potential

How many rewards you get with the Ulta credit cards depends on how much you buy at Ulta and how often you shop there.

Let’s pretend you go to Ulta Beauty every two months and buy makeup and skincare products for $60 each time. That means you spend $360 in a year. By being a member of Ultamate Rewards and using your Ulta credit card, you earn 720 points. With 500 points, you can get $17.50 worth of free stuff at Ulta.

If you use a special credit card at Ulta to pay for things like haircuts or makeup services at their salon, you can earn extra rewards points.

If you go to Ulta to get your hair cut and colored or your makeup done often, you could become a top-tier Diamond member in their rewards program. This means you’ll earn more points when you buy things at Ulta and those points will be worth more when you redeem them.

The Magic Card

This little card right here is magic. It’s free to fill out an application. Everyone pretty much gets this. It’s kind of like your Kroger card, except the rewards are outrageous. I applied for it maybe a year or two ago, and since then, in the past six months, I’ve gotten two free full-size perfumes, which total about $100 and $60.

Ultamate Rewards Mastercard : Amazing Deals and Savings

Since May, I was able to pay $5 and replace my lighted makeup mirror for just $5. Today, I spent 48 cents on one, two, three, five items, just because of Ultimate Rewards. You give them their card, you’re shopping there anyway, and everything you buy adds up to points. Points add up to money. They email you to let you know you’ve got some money, which they did today, and so I spent it.

Project Pan and Recent Purchases

I’m going to show you what I got. I know I’m on Project Pan, so I’m not going to consider this a haul. One, because I’m not going to open this stuff really until my Project Pan is done. Two, because I didn’t buy it. If that’s cheating, I’m sorry, but I’ve used way more than I’m supposed to in Project Pans. I don’t feel that guilty, and one of them was a definite necessity.

Lash Accelerator Serum by Rimmel

It’s the Lash Accelerator Serum by Rimmel. I read some pretty good reviews about this, so I want to try it. It supports natural growth for lashes and brows. It was $9.99. My lashes are breaking off, and I don’t know what it’s from because I’m using the Benefit They’re Real and the ELF eyelash curler, which I’ve been using forever.

So, I’m going to lay off the curling and the mascara for a while and just use this. If it seems like it’s working, it says it takes 30 days or so to see results, I will maybe do a review blog. Here’s a close-up: it has a brow applicator at the bottom, and the side looks like this.

NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat Powder Foundation

This was also $9.99, and NYX is BOGO 50% off right now. I got it in nude. Normally, I’m the lightest shade, but I’ve been tanning (self-tanning), so I got this one. Stay Matte But Not Flat Powder Foundation is from the HD Studio line.

This is the HD one. Correct me if I’m wrong, are there two different ones? Anyways, I feel like this is going to be great for my mom’s wedding in July because we’re going to be going to Ocean City, Maryland, and I don’t want to be caked in makeup and sweating it off. Here’s the color, and underneath is the little powder puff thingy. This is 7.5g. I really like this stuff. I believe I’ve used at least one or two of these before.

NYX HD Photogenic Concealer

Next is BOGO 50% off. I need a new under-eye concealer, so I got this one in yellow. This is also the HD Photogenic, and it’s 3g yellow. It blends into my skin really well, so I’m hoping it will work. In Project Pan, my under-eye concealer is about gone. I have to take the lid off and use a Q-tip every day.

NYX Butter Gloss

The last few things I got were lip products. I previously bought two Butter Glosses when these first came out. I don’t remember the shades, but I returned them because they just weren’t very pigmented. There was no color payoff. Since I wasn’t paying for this order and it was BOGO 50% off, I decided to pick the boldest color, hoping it would have the best color payoff. I’m wearing it now, and I don’t dislike it. It’s just one layer. This is the Butter Gloss in the shade Peach Cobbler. I’ll swatch it for you. You can really shear it out or put it on a little bit thicker. It’s a really pretty shade, especially for the beach.

NYX Glam Lipstick Aqua Luxe in Razzle Dazzle

This might have been $4 to $5.99. I don’t have any of their Glam Lipsticks, the Aqua Luxe, so I got one in Razzle Dazzle. Here’s the package. I think this is going to be a really pretty color for summer. These are finely milled glitters. Look at how smooth their lipsticks glide on. It’s a really pretty color, and with the small crushed-up glitters, it catches the light really nicely.

Comenity Ultamate Rewards Mastercard

I updated my income, then clicked the “Like” button and received a $1,000 increase, giving me a new credit limit of $7,200. The last time I received a CLI on this card was in December 2019. While I’ve been using it less for high-end makeup since working from home since March and rarely leaving the house, there’s still gas and the occasional bump. visit

As I mentioned, I’ve been paying less attention to the CLI lately because my real goal is to reduce the balances on eight of the twelve cards to AZEO, but this small increase should help my overall utilization, which is at 27%. Last month. I’ll enjoy this progress

In conclusion

The Ultamate Rewards Mastercard is a great choice for frequent Ulta shoppers. It offers substantial rewards, no annual fee, and the opportunity for a 20% discount on your initial purchase, making it a worthwhile option to explore. Boost your credit score prior to applying to enhance your approval odds. Share any successful experiences or advice with me, and I look forward to connecting in the upcoming blog post!
